Secret Fighting Arts of the Warrior
Race, Volume 1 - betleH yIqel

This review has taken me considerably longer that I had intended.
There is a very good reason for this. This is not a novel that
you sit back and read. This is not a light paperback book that
you flip through in a day or two and then forget about. This
is a font of information that you study, a group of lessons that
you practice and learn and absorb.
HetaQ and Pacific Warriors Inc have done every true
Klingon Warrior on the planet Dirt a great service. We have been
honoured with a way to learn and build upon the knowledge of
fighting techniques designed by a sensei.
Included in the 170 pages of this book are well over 300 photos
and illustrations showing the proper stances to be used in handling
the betleH. These include photos of warriors using the weapon
as well as foot charts which will allow you to know that you
are in the correct position before you proceed to the next lesson.
Also included are detailed instructions on movement, when
and how to shift your body weight so as to most effectively carry
out an attack or defend your position.
If it were with in my authority, I would order each and every
member of the KIDC Security Division to purchase a copy. This
includes the KBA, the Ambassador's elite corps of all-female
bodyguards. There are lessons contained here that would make
the smallest of our members the equal of any attacker.
I will not even attempt to rate this book on my normal scale,
to do so would be an insult to the warriors who's labour it is.
Instead, let me say that, anyone who holds true warrior batlh
in the esteem in which it should be held will buy a copy of not
only this book but the others in the series if they come out.
For purchasing information contact the Klingon
Imperial Embassy, a limited number of these now rare books
are still available.
